Staff Plus is currently recruiting on behalf our client in the Food Production Industry. If you are looking for a long term, full time opportunity, this role could be for you.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 1-2 year experience in a warehouse/ food production environment is considered an asset
• Solid understanding of GMP and other policies.
• Ability to work in team and lift up to 55 lbs.
• Need to have own transportation as location is not accessible by public transport.

• Assist the Cheesemaker in the manufacturing of our cheese: the making, packaging, and sanitation processes.
• Help to make cheese; from the intake of milk through to the cutting and packaging of the cheese.
• Follow and comply with good manufacturing practices (GMP), safety and quality assurance practices Lead in the sanitation and cleanup of the production area.
• Maintain the entire work area in a clean and sanitary condition and follow all safety procedures.
• Lead in the packaging processes of the cheese
• Observe and support all packaging rules and company policies.
• Lead with keeping an organized and accurate inventory.
• Responsible for the accurate and timely processing of all duties.
• Working in different temperatures *The temperature in the refrigerated area is between 4-6 Degrees, the dock is 8-10 Degrees and the Freezer is -15 Degrees.
• Other duties assigned by Lead.
