Description Days Shift: 2-2-3 schedule (work 2 days, off 2 days, work 3 days, off 2 days & off 3 days) every two weeks you will be schedule to work 36 hours one week and 48 hours the other. NO SWING SHIFTS Job Summary Safely and efficiently move raw and finished materials within the manufacturing and warehouse facilities. Load and unload trucks and remove waste materials from the facility. Generate necessary paperwork. Essential Functions: Follow all Warehouse department Standard Operating Procedures including material movements, shipping and receiving Correctly identify quantities, proper coding and damaged goods Perform Inventory cycle counts on Tufco and client inventory levels Stock inbound deliveries in “first in, first out” (FIFO) order Inspect and test shipments for quality defects when required Complete inbound and outbound trailer inspections and notify appropriate personnel when needed Deliver raw materials in a timely, effective and safe manner to work centers for production Remove unused raw materials and finished goods from work centers Adapt to new methods, procedures or equipment and meet customer requirements Recognize and notify management of any potential mechanical or electrical problem that could seriously damage equipment or employees Immediately report any equipment or facility damage to on-shift leadership Safely operate a forklift and fill out shift inspection reports Work well with team members, helping out as needed Work on various projects as directed by Warehouse Supervisor Deliver UPS packages and office supplies Deliver copy paper to main office Organize warehouse, making sure it is clean and safe Function as a back up to other positions in the department as assigned Minimum Qualifications: Previous warehouse experience Preferred Qualifications: High school diploma or GED 1+ years of forklift driving experience Experience with hand held scanners 1+ years of experience with box and/or roll clamps Requirements Work Requirements: Strong attention to detail Works independently and as a team with minimum supervision Proficient interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills Forklift driver certification/license (certified through Tufco) Must possess a positive attitude, willingness to learn and have good attendance Works in a safe and ethical manner at all times Understands and complies with all lockout/tagout procedures
