JOB SUMMARY The primary duties of this position are to assist in picking, packaging, and shipping orders tied to NABCO sales. Other duties, tasks and work may be assigned. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES · Pick, pack and ship all orders · Daily Cycle Counts · Transfers – receives 2-4 pallets per month · Respond to Warehouse emails · Conduct Stock checks · Manage phone calls for Warehouse orders · Handle Emergency Orders · Assist in maintaining local spaces · Assist in loading and transferring materials internally · Clean and organize warehouse floors, areas and outside yard · Use forklifts · Lift up to 80 lbs · Prepare inventory for storage or for shipping · Maintain tools and equipment · Scrap and properly sort materials and metals · Load and unload trucks · Help with any and all warehouse duties May be modified from time to time. Other duties, tasks and work may be assigned SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Not applicable. This position has no direct reports. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE High school or equivalent GED certification. QUALIFICATIONS: § Detail oriented § Strong verbal and written communication skills § Ability to multi-task and work at fast pace § Effective verbal and written skills § Strong time management and organization skills * Ability to work accurately and effectively under tight deadlines, independently as well as with teams, demonstrate good common sense and sound judgment, and maintain confidentiality PHYSICAL DEMANDS · Occasional sitting, reaching/working overhead, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling · Frequent walking · Continuous standing and repetitive hand motion · Lifting requirements include frequent lifting of up to 150 pounds and continuous lifting of up to 10 pounds EMPLOYEE EVALUATION SUMMARY · Introductory -- Will be written at approximately 80 days after employment and will be used to determine whether employee has sufficiently met and performed the job requirements, and will indicate whether employment will continue · Annual Reviews – Employee will be given a formal regular annual review, which assesses productivity and demonstrated business skills and accomplishments for the previous period. WORK SCHEDULE Hours are 7:30am to 4:00pm though they may vary based on discussion with the local Operations Manager or the warehouse shipping needs. You are required to be at your workstation from the start of your shift to the completion of your shift Monday thru Friday.
