Description Department: Operations Reports To: Warehouse Manager FLSA Status: Non-exempt (Hourly) Salary Info: $20 - $24 per hour Benefit Info: Comprehensive PTO Package; Health and Welfare Benefits; Employee Ownership Position Summary: This position is responsible for being a key player working on the warehouse team. As a member of the Operations team, this position delivers excellent service to customers and is a positive team player. Warehouse Associate Specific Responsibilities: Properly assemble furniture per directions, chairs, desks Un-carton and inspect new furniture per order, blanket wrap and cart up ready for delivery. Assist with receiving in new furniture, count, inspect Assist with loading and unloading trucks Assist with deliveries when needed Operate in an organized and safe manner Stay on pace, think ahead as you do your work, be efficient and productive, eliminate wasted time Ask for help if uncertain or struggling to complete task. Accurately complete time card, including hours worked by day and job # Maintain tools and equipment, use the correct tool for the job Operate safely, be aware of hazardous conditions, report all unsafe conditions to manager, wear personal protective equipment when operating power tools or working with chemicals Communicate with others to inform, build trust and confidence, resolve issues, and enhance their overall experience Assist with other projects as needed 2. Education/Experience: High School Diploma and related experience in furniture or construction field or industry desired.
