Job Details Job Location: Jawonio Inc - NEW CITY, NY 10956 Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $16.00 - $17.00 Hourly Main duties and Responsibilities: 1. Performs data entry into computerized inventory tracking system on regular basis to update inventory control procedures. 2. Loads and unloads trucks using power jacks and forklifts. 3. Confirm and record deliveries received. 4. Internally deliver incoming packages to proper department, obtaining signatures for tracking purposes. 5. Fill in for mailroom staff during absence or as assigned. 6. Operates various warehouse equipment using safety precautions and maintains a safe and orderly work environment. 7. Deliver Payroll and mail to houses bi-weekly. 8. Pick up or deliver mail, PPE, office supplies to other sites and pick up promotional items from vendors etc. as needed or assigned in the tri state area using company issued van. 9. Assists in the shredding process of agency paper. 10. Maintains documents and prepare production flow. 11. Performs other duties as required by supervisor. 12. July / August – Summer Camp ½ drive LEARNING TIME: 3 months INTERRELATIONSHIPS: Regular contact with consumers, staff, and customers. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Exposure to heat, warehouse conditions, and outside elements when loading or unloading trucks. Lifts material up to 50 pounds. Qualifications BACKGROUND / FORMAL EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: High school or equivalent SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Driver’s License required, CDL / 19A compliance (may be obtained during probationary period). Forklift certified. Computer knowledge required.

Responsibilities

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for data entry into the inventory tracking system, loading and unloading trucks, and delivering packages to various departments. Additional duties include operating warehouse equipment safely and assisting in the shredding process.
