Description Assignment Type: Temp-to-Hire Pay Rate: $16/hr. Schedule: Monday – Friday Shift Options 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, picking, packaging, and shipping products while maintaining inventory accuracy and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Receiving Receive inbound shipments accurately Verify receipts match vendor or transfer purchase orders Investigate and resolve discrepancies Put Away / Stocking Stock incoming inventory following FIFO standards Verify part numbers and quantities match inventory locations Order Picking Pull orders according to customer specifications Maintain order accuracy and inventory tracking Packaging & Shipping Package orders to meet customer specifications Verify correct parts and quantities Ensure freight is rated according to company standards Inventory Control Assist with cycle counts Stage inventory for orders and deliveries Material Handling Safely operate forklifts and warehouse equipment Transport products throughout the warehouse General Warehouse Duties Maintain clean and organized work areas Follow all safety procedures Participate in cross-training as needed Overtime: Possible with approval Requirements Candidate Requirements 1–3 years of warehouse experience Forklift operation required Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive movements Basic math skills Strong attention to detail Ability to meet daily deadlines Good communication and problem-solving skills Preferred Computer experience Microsoft Office Shipping software or inventory systems Scanning and data entry experience Education High School Diploma or GED Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Extensive standing, walking, bending, and repetitive movement Work in a warehouse environment with possible exposure to heat, noise, and dirt Dress Code Company shirt provided by DXP Nice pants or jeans (no holes) Hard-toed shoes required Screening Requirements Drug Screen: 10 Panel Background Check Includes SSN Verification National Criminal File County Criminal Search OFAC Employment Verification (if authorized) Education/Employment Gap Scan MVR Check: Yes Client Interview: Required, Resume Approval: Required #ZR
