Description Hours: 7am-3:30pm Mon-Fri or with OT. Saturdays as needed. Wage: $18.00 per hour Location: 600 Grantham Lane New Castle, DE 19720 Position Overview: Under the direction of the Manager Operations and/or Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Associate is responsible for shipping, receiving, logistical planning and assisting with general warehouse duties. Responsibilities: Primary Duties: · Receive direct container shipments · Pick, pack and ship truckload & less than truckload shipments daily · Order management · Warehouse organization and cleanliness · Inventory control · Maintain cooperative working relationships with all company employees, customers, owners and vendors. · Understand and follow all safety policies. · Stage and label product. Maintain Work Practices: · Maintain work environment to 5S standards · Punctual: begins work on time and returns from lunch and breaks on time · All paperwork and database entries filled out completely and accurately · Promote a positive team atmosphere with co-workers · Other projects as assigned Requirements Education: · High school degree or equivalent Experience: · Forklift driving experience and certification Other Requirements: · Basic computer skills · Experience with SAP is preferred · Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel and Outlook Benefits: We offer an excellent compensation package and team-oriented work environment with growth opportunities.
