Description The Warehouse Associate supports the operations of the warehouse. The person in this position will ensure daily service support to the warehouse team. Requires the need to be organized and ready for service mobilization. The Warehouse Associate requires the ability to multi-task and ensure the warehouse team delivers parts as needed and open the warehouse after hours. The Warehouse position requires a diligent enforcement of cleanliness and order every day. Job Duties: The ability to communicate with all levels of employees. The ability to multi-task and set priorities. The ability to use a computer to navigate software, inventory programs, and email. The ability to write and perform basic mathematical functions for inventory. Work with co-workers to maintain and manage inventory, mail, part stocking, etc. Assist to monitor the service and support Jones Covey receives from vendors. Maintain inventory levels on trucks. Assist in inventory counts conducted twice per calendar year. Bar code scan and stock bin locations for reduced shrinkage. Communicate with management regarding problems, concerns, and suggestions. Constant communication with dispatch and billing personnel. Strong interpersonal communication skills, and multi-tasking ability. Additional duties as required for the position. Requirements High School diploma or GED, required Be detail oriented. Have an acceptable level of fitness to complete duties as assigned. Have good teamwork skills. Work well in a fast-paced environment. Understand company health and safety regulations. Be honest and reliable. Have a willingness to work on a flexible schedule if needed. Be forklift certified/trained. Must be able to meet company’s employment requirements, which includes passing a drug screen, background check, and MVR, if driving for the company. Physical Demands: Lifting: Up to 50 pounds occasionally for large parts and equipment with assistance. Carrying: Up to 25 feet in any direction to load or unload. Bending: Regularly from the waist throughout the day as needed. Pushing/Pulling: Occasionally as needed to unload/load, organize parts on shelves Squatting: Rarely. Walking: Typically, within 25 feet in any direction. Standing: Can stand for periods up to two hours at a time, with discretion to sit. Overhead Reaching: While inventorying and organizing parts and equipment on shelves. Grasping/Gripping: Using light exertion for small part handling, up to two hand gripping for larger parts and equipment.
