Description

General Description: The Warehouse Associate is primarily responsible for sorting and selecting products to fulfill customer orders. Core Duties and Responsibilities: * Review customer orders to determine items to be selected * Assemble customer orders from stock, verify accuracy of products selected and packages for shipment * Compare identifying information and count items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify accuracy against orders or other records * Assemble shipping boxes, maintain warehouse supplies and inventory levels * Assist other departments as needed, including but not limited to, Receiving, Stocking, Replenishment, Shipping, Verifying and Returns * May serve as backup to Material Handler * Assist in ensuring the warehouse is kept clean and organized * Regular onsite attendance is an essential function of this position * Additional duties as needed Position Requirements: * HS diploma or equivalent * 2+ years of experience in a fast paced warehouse environment * Clear communication skills required * Able to stand on feet the entire working day * Able to bend, crouch and reach as needed * Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs * Flexible with schedule; ability to work overtime due to business needs * Ability to operate all electric material handling equipment (including but not limited to Standing Electric Forklift, Hi-Lo Reach Truck, Cherry Picker, Pallet Jack, Dock Machine, etc., a plus Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check.
