Description

Our Distribution Center, located in the Tilbury Business Park (Delta, BC), is currently seeking a full-time warehouse associate.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a critical role in our logistics operations. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Order Picking: Accurately picking and packing products to our customers, suppliers, and other locations.
  • Shipping & Receiving: Processing shipments, assisting with loading and unloading trucks, cross-docking, and inventory organization.
  • Container Sorting: Sorting and organizing inbound shipments.
  • Warehouse Maintenance: Keeping the workspace clean and organized, including breaking down cardboard, sweeping aisles, and maintaining safety standards.
  • Team Support: Collaborating with colleagues to ensure efficient and timely operations, assisting with tasks such as overstock handling.

This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and a proactive mindset.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, or order picking is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with warehouse equipment, such as reach trucks or pallet jacks, is an asset.
  • Previous experience playing a musical instrument is preferred but not required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. repeatedly.
  • Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and performing physical tasks throughout the day.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to assist where needed.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory systems or order management.
