JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a critical role in our logistics operations. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Order Picking: Accurately picking and packing products to our customers, suppliers, and other locations.
- Shipping & Receiving: Processing shipments, assisting with loading and unloading trucks, cross-docking, and inventory organization.
- Container Sorting: Sorting and organizing inbound shipments.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keeping the workspace clean and organized, including breaking down cardboard, sweeping aisles, and maintaining safety standards.
- Team Support: Collaborating with colleagues to ensure efficient and timely operations, assisting with tasks such as overstock handling.
This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and a proactive mindset.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience in warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, or order picking is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment, such as reach trucks or pallet jacks, is an asset.
- Previous experience playing a musical instrument is preferred but not required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. repeatedly.
- Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and performing physical tasks throughout the day.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- A positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to assist where needed.
- Basic computer skills for inventory systems or order management.
