Essential Functions • Operates a lift-truck loading & unloading trucks. • Changing out propane tanks on lift when out of Fuel. • Receive & select pallets for outbound. • Track shipments using a handheld scanner. • Process, package and ship orders accurately • Organize stocks and maintain inventory • Inspect products for defects and damages • Examine ingoing and outgoing shipments • Organize warehouse space • Receive, unload, and place incoming inventory items appropriately • Check, verify and fill customer invoices • Follows all safety requirements and regulations • Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures • Keep warehouse clean and organized daily • Perform other responsibilities as directed. • All other duties as assigned Required Skills/Abilities • Clamp attachment on fork truck experience is a plus! • Rail car loading/unloading experience is a plus! • Safety conscious • Proven warehouse experience • Ability to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment • Adequate knowledge of warehouse data system • Team player with organizational skills • Ability to lift or move heavy products • Reliable • Self-motivated • Attention to detail • Communicate effectively • Works well Independently Physical Requirements • Maximum lifting/carrying 50 - 60lbs. • Frequent lifting/carrying 10lbs.
