Job Details Job Location: New Berlin - New Berlin, WI 53146 Position Type: Full-Time/Part-Time Salary Range: $18.50 Hourly Job Shift: Day Job Category: Entry Level The Warehouse Associate is responsible for processing items from the donation bins/trucks while working in a warehouse setting using forklifts, trash compactors and baling equipment. Assist with loading and unloading trucks. Sort and organize items within the warehouse by properly unboxing and storing goods in their designated location. Responsible for operating baler to produce bales for secondary market. Maintain accurate records of products that have been stocked and provide management with an accurate representation of all goods shipped and received. Monitor and report any missing or lost inventory to management. Properly pack items to be shipped according to company standards to ensure they arrive in excellent condition. Accurately retrieve items from within the warehouse to be processed and shipped. Complete all assigned training and attend all mandatory meetings. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Ability to occasionally push, pull and lift more than 50 pounds while working both indoors and outdoors. Experience using trash compactors and baling equipment. (Must be 18 years or older.) Experience using a forklift and professional forklift certification is strongly preferred. Ability to use janitorial equipment, rolling racks, ladders, and other assigned supplies. Ability to maintain a high level of physicality for prolonged periods and working primarily standing. Experience working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Interpersonal skills are essential, as working as a team is vital to maintaining and organized warehouse. Experience with software such as Microsoft Excel and other company spreadsheet programs. Ability to problem solve quickly and prioritize daily tasks according to their importance. The customer service mentality is beneficial to ensure a positive customer experience by shipping items to a high standard.
