The Warehouse Associate supports daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced mail printing and inserting environment. This role is responsible for receiving, organizing, and distributing materials—such as paper stock, envelopes, and printed components—to ensure accurate and efficient production. This role also prepares outgoing shipments, maintains inventory accuracy, picks and stages materials, and ensures the warehouse is safe, organized, and compliant with company and postal requirements. Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM; May require weekend or extended hours based on production schedules and mailing deadlines. Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments of paper stock, envelopes, finished goods, and supplies Accurately log received materials into the inventory system Stage materials required for daily print and insertion jobs Pull and deliver stock to insertion operators according to work orders Replenish production lines with the correct inserts, envelopes, and printed components according to job orders Conduct routine cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and report discrepancies promptly Safely load and unload trucks using pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified) Sort, palletize, shrink-wrap, and label outgoing mail and shipments Prepare USPS mail trays, sacks, and pallets according to postal requirements Assist with coordinating pickups from USPS or other carriers Complete shipping logs, manifests, and basic documentation as needed Keep warehouse aisles, shelves, staging areas, and workstations clean and organized Shred and bale paper and cardboard Ensure materials are stored safely, properly labeled, and easily accessible. Follow company safety guidelines, including proper lifting procedures and equipment handling Participate in safety checks and report hazards, damaged products, or equipment issues Other duties as assigned Qualifications Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent Must be able to speak, read, and write in English Possess a valid driver's license Other Job Requirements Experience in mail production, printing, or lettershop environments preferred Familiarity with postal mail preparation (USPS tray/sack/pallet requirements) preferred Ability to read and follow work orders, job tickets, and inventory instructions Basic computer and data-entry skills for inventory systems and logging materials Competent in standard warehouse processes including receiving, picking, staging, and shipping Ability to safely operate pallet jacks, carts, and forklifts (if certified). Strong attention to detail when pulling materials and verifying job requirements Ability to maintain organization and accuracy within warehouse and storage areas Effective communication with production teams and machine operators.
