POSITION SUMMARY

As a valuable member of Norrizon Sales & Marketing Distribution team, the Warehouse Associate is responsible for picking and packing orders, shipping and receiving and other warehouse activities. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Warehouse Associate must be highly organized to monitor and manage various tasks with an intuitive ability to problem solve and follow SOPs.

QUALIFITICATIONS, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Experience and solid understanding of warehouse logistics, distribution, supply chain, inventory management
• Strong interpersonal skills with excellent oral and written communication skills
• Computer skills required. Data entry for shipping terminals, occasional data entry of orders required.· Forklift Certification (Preferred but not required)
• Physical demands required – Lifting up to 50lbs
• Highly motivated and skilled to manage multiple tasks and meet deliverables
• Problem solving, take appropriate and timely actions·
• Flexible and adaptability within a fast paced and changing needs environment

• Order Picking / Packing / Shipping
• Inventory Receiving and Put Away
• Generate and manage, Packing Slips, ASN’s / BOL’s
• Complete special projects such as kitting and labelling projects
• Use the warehouse management system to manage and review product information, inventory levels, lot codes, expiry dates, order processing etc.
• Executes tasks as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Work independently within a team environment and escalate issues when appropriate
• Ensure compliance with regulatory or legal requirements (import, export, warehouse storage, environmental standards, safety records)
• Assist with client’s logistical requests
• Foster a collaborative team environment to accomplish tasks
• Promotes clean & organized warehouse by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
• Follow and adheres to forklift use, maintenance, and safety standards
