Description O’Rourke Sales is interviewing for a Warehouse Associate position at our corporate office in Davenport, Iowa. We are an established national distributor offering numerous lines of consumer electronics and standard to high-end appliances. O’Rourke Sales is an Equal Opportunity Employer. POSITION LEVEL: Entry level to Experienced. POSITION TYPE: Full Time 1st Shift– Monday-Friday, 8:00-5:00 (start/end time may vary). Overtime may be required. JOB SUMMARY: Under supervision of the Warehouse Manager, this person will be responsible for supporting the efforts of our shipping department by picking and packing product and other warehouse assignments. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Organizing product Pulling and packing orders Processing shipping labels Inventory checks Warehouse cleaning Office and janitorial cleaning Other duties as assigned Requirements JOB REQUIREMENTS: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Dependable with a strong work ethic to include a self-starter approach. Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple assignments. Ability to analyze situations and recommend solutions. Organized and detail oriented. Basic computer skills Good verbal and written communication skills Pleasant and professional attitude Ability to foster appropriate working relationships with co-workers and Management. Forklift experience a plus Clamp truck experience a plus Previous warehouse experience a plus RF scanner experience a plus EDUCATION REQUIRED: High School Diploma or Equivalent
