WAREHOUSE PARTS PULLER POSITION SUMMARY Summit Stairs & Millwork is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Parts Puller to join our team. This position is responsible for accurately pulling, staging, and preparing materials required for the production of custom stair systems and millwork products. The ideal candidate is organized, safety-conscious, and takes pride in ensuring every order is complete and accurate before it reaches the production floor. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Read and interpret work orders, pick lists, and production schedules. * Accurately locate, pull, and stage parts and materials for production. * Verify quantities and inspect materials for quality before staging. * Organize materials by job to ensure efficient workflow. * Load and unload materials using pallet jacks, forklifts, or other material handling equipment (training/certification provided as required). * Assist with receiving and stocking inventory. * Maintain accurate inventory through proper material handling and reporting discrepancies. * Keep warehouse aisles, racks, and work areas clean, organized, and safe. * Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines. * Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed. * Work closely with production, shipping, and warehouse teams to meet customer deadlines. * Perform other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS * High school diploma or GED preferred. * Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or material handling experience preferred. * Ability to read work orders and follow written and verbal instructions. * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. * Basic math skills. * Dependable attendance and punctuality. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS * Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds. * Stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach throughout the workday. * Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures. * Ability to safely operate material handling equipment after training. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * Forklift certification or willingness to become certified. * Experience using RF scanners or warehouse inventory systems. * Experience in lumber, millwork, construction materials, or manufacturing environments. WORK ENVIRONMENT This position is performed in a warehouse and manufacturing environment where exposure to wood products, sawdust, machinery, and moderate noise levels is common. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is required and provided.
