We have an immediate need for a Warehouse Associate at our West Bath, ME location. PDQ Door Company is Maine’s leading provider for garage doors, dock equipment, automatic pedestrian doors, and more! With branches in Hampden, Rockport, West Bath, Waterville, Houlton, and Presque Isle, we are able to provide superior service to the entire state of Maine. Summary In the role of Warehouse Associate, you will assume the pivotal responsibility of performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock & assigned job materials, picking and filling orders from stock, and managing, organizing & receiving stock. Prior experience is not a prerequisite, as we provide thorough on-the-job training. Duties Properly loading and unloading shipments Maintaining a neat and organized warehouse Preparing customer furnish-only orders for pick-up and delivery Preparing orders for outgoing installation and maintenance Maintaining inventory tracking Warehouse stocking Communicating with team members to meet our customers’ expectations Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment Occasionally assisting technicians with various job functions Operate a forklift regularly Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age. Must possess a valid Driver’s License Must have an acceptable MVR to be added to our auto insurance policy. Must have dependable, reliable transportation to and from your base office location. Preferred Qualifications Basic knowledge of construction, hand tools, and/or electrical Previous forklift experience or certification Mechanical Inclination Skills Willingness to learn Strong problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail Ability to prioritize tasks Ability to manage tight timeframes Customer service-oriented mindset Adaptability to a changing work environment Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Work Conditions Partially climate-controlled warehouse setting, with the potential of working in all weather conditions. Frequently walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 75 lbs.
