PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:   A. Workplace Safety Inspection & Monitoring  1. Support daily and weekly inspection activities as directed by immediate supervision, including  but not limited to: o Housekeeping and walkway clearance   o Emergency exit accessibility   o Fire extinguisher presence and accessibility   o First aid kit stock checks   o Eye-wash station condition   o PPE availability and usage   o Stacking and de-stacking observations at racking areas   o General workplace safety observations   2. Assist in identifying ergonomic risks during routine walkthroughs (e.g., awkward postures,  manual handling practices) and report findings directly to the supervising safety personnel.   3. Support basic noise identification activities by helping record observations or assisting with the  scheduling of noise measurement checks conducted by competent personnel.   4. Assist with HIRARC (Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Risk Control)-related  activities, such as gathering information, documenting hazards observed, and preparing  checklists for review by supervising safety personnel.   5. Assist in CHRA (Chemical Health Risk Assessment) support tasks, including coordinating  documentation, collecting relevant data, and compiling observation notes for subsequent  review by the competent assessor.   6. Support OSHWA (Occupational Safety & Health Workplace Assessment) data collection by  helping record findings, monitoring checkpoints, and compiling floor observation notes.   7. Assist in floor-level execution of incident reporting processes managed by the Assistant  Supervisor, including:  o Collecting initial details from the scene   o Taking photographs   o Preparing preliminary documentation for review by safety personnel   B. Safety Inspection Documentation Support  1. Record safety inspection observations using approved checklists and templates provided by  the department.   2. Maintain and update safety documentation and floor logs, ensuring visibility for the Assistant  Supervisor and Manager:  o Safety inspection records   o Incident logs and preliminary incident details   o HIRARC observation notes   o Safety monitoring logs (e.g., PPE, emergency equipment checks)   3. Support tracking of inspection findings and corrective actions by updating follow-up status  exactly as instructed by supervising safety personnel.   4. Prepare, organize, and maintain documentation files to support internal reviews, corporate  audits, and external regulatory checks.   5. Ensure completeness, accuracy, and proper filing of all inspection documents to maintain  constant audit readiness for the departmental function.   6. Assist during fire service inspections, including preparing ground-level documents, retrieving  required records, and guiding inspectors to relevant physical inspection points.     C. Emergency & Safety Preparedness Support  1. Provide direct assistance to the Assistant Supervisor during emergency and safety activities,  such as:  o Fire drill exercises   o Emergency response preparation activities   o Toolbox meetings / safety briefings   o Safety Week or safety campaigns   2. Support structural administrative tasks for safety initiatives, including managing attendance  lists, collecting sign-offs/acknowledgements, updating documentation, and filing.   3. Assist in internal safety training preparation, including materials/handouts layout, training room  setup, attendance capture, and record compilation.     D. Operational Compliance Observation (Supporting Role)  1. Perform basic operational observations during regular warehouse activities to identify obvious  non-compliance related to product handling or storage practices.   2. Escalate any operational irregularities, quality risks, or concerns immediately to QA personnel  or the supervising hierarchy for further review.   3. Provide assistance during operational and warehouse compliance inspection activities when  assigned.   (Note: This role performs observation and reporting support only, working under strict supervisory  guidelines, and does not make independent compliance decisions.)     QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS   A. Educational Background  • Minimum Diploma in any of the following disciplines:   o Occupational Safety & Health   o Logistics / Supply Chain Management   o Engineering / Science   o Quality Assurance / Quality Management   o Industrial or Manufacturing-related field   (Candidates with an SPM qualification may be considered if they possess strong, proven  experience in warehouse operations or safety inspection environments.)     B. Working Experience  • Preferably 1–3 years of experience in one or more of the following areas:   o Warehouse operations, ideally within a GDP/GDPMD, pharmaceutical, or medical  device environment.   o Workplace safety inspection, floor monitoring, or compliance auditing support.   • Familiarity with physical inspection checklists, incident logging, basic HIRARC concepts, and  general OSHA or ISO 45001 awareness is an advantage.     C. Technical Skills & Knowledge  • Basic Knowledge: Understanding of warehouse operations, basic safety practices (OSHA  1994 awareness), and checklist-based inspection procedures.  • Core Abilities: Capable of conducting routine floor inspections using standard SOPs,  identifying visible hazards/unsafe acts & conditions, and gathering clear photo evidence.  • Documentation Skills: Ability to record observations accurately and use Microsoft Word/Excel  to update basic safety logs and trackers.    D. Soft Skills & Behavioral Requirements  • Detail-Oriented & Reliable: Highly observant, disciplined, and consistent in conducting daily  warehouse safety walkthroughs.  • Communication & Escalations: Able to report floor findings clearly and follow supervisory  instructions and escalation protocols precisely.  • Physical Stamina: Physically fit to perform extensive walking and safety monitoring across all  operational zones of the warehouse.    E.
