Start time between 7am/7:30am until work is done, around 4:30pm Flexibility in schedule to accommodate OT and/or weekends based on business needs. What you will do: Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to load, unload, and move materials in warehouse and yard Work outdoors with exposure to all weather conditions Verify order contents and maintain documentation (pick tickets, inventory count sheets) Inspect, organize, maintain, and track inventory Demonstrate a daily commitment to safety and adhere diligently to all safety protocols, while always wearing appropriate PPE Preserve safe and clean work environment which includes cleaning and painting As needed, operate metal fabrication equipment (shears, brakes, rollers, and cutting machines) to produce roofing components according to specifications. As needed, read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and measurements to ensure accuracy in production. As needed, maintain and troubleshoot fabrication machinery to ensure optimal performance. What you will bring: Experience operating forklifts and other heavy equipment; warehouse experience preferred Commitment to providing an outstanding experience to customers, vendors, and co-workers through effective verbal and written communication and a customer-first mindset Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy. Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding conditions. Reliable transportation to work and the ability to regularly work early morning hours Previous experience in metal fabrication, manufacturing, or building supply industry preferred. Ability to operate fabrication machinery safely and efficiently preferred. Strong mechanical skills and understanding of basic measurements and tolerances preferred.
