Position requires 20% delivery driving tasks. Valid License and clean driving record required. We are currently recruiting for a Material Handler and Delivery Driver to join our team! The Material Handler will play a crucial role in supporting our Warehouse departments. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing type of environment however, we are willing to train! This is an excellent opportunity for students! Position requires 20% delivery driving tasks. Valid License and clean driving record required. * Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. * Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas. * Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code. * Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to the production floor. * Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department. * Marks materials with identifying information. * Opens bales, crates, and other containers. * Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed. * Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards. * Arranges stock parts in specified sequence for assembly by other workers. * Uses a computer to enter records. * Compiles worksheets or tickets from customer specifications. * Drives lift trucks to transport stored items throughout the plant or to pick up items from department locations for shipment. * Maintains inventory records. * Deliver product to our local customers. * All other duties as assigned. * High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience * One year of experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment preferred * 1-2 years of forklift driving experience required * Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals * Delivery driving experience

Responsibilities

The Material Handler will manage warehouse inventory, including moving, sorting, and distributing materials to production areas. Additionally, the role involves driving a forklift and performing local delivery tasks to transport products to customers.
