Description Warehouse Associate Senior Shift type: Split/evening shift from 11am to 7pm. Location: Onsite - DC operations building Pay rate- $21.00/hour (paid weekly) 6 month contract with possibility for extension Job Summary: Responsible for company cargo transportation and delivery of MFG supplies. Ensures accuracy of all paperwork related to the job. Loading, unloading, and onsite warehouse operations are daily tasks. Responsible for safety of crewmembers, fellow employees, and the public while operating company vehicles. Follows proper guidelines for use of all equipment needed for completing local moving and storage jobs. Ensures vehicle and equipment are clean, safe and kept in working order. Lifts up to 40 pounds and will operate PIV. Adheres to all company policies. Assists in maintaining inventory accuracy. Manages items coming into the warehouse from production. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Drives company vehicle for inbound/outbound movements between warehouses. • Responsible for handling all transportation loads and paperwork accordingly. • Performs loading, unloading, and put-away tasks for each trip/load. • Coordinate and communicate effectively across departments. • Executes ERP system transactions for PPS (pick/pack/ship) and inbound receipts in accordance with site policies and warehouse requirements. • Lifts up to 40 pounds unassisted. • Maintains Inventory accuracy. • Performs other duties as assigned. Job Requirements: Minimum Education: - High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required Minimum Work Experience (years): - 2+ years of experience in warehouse activities - Basic computer literacy, with knowledge of software including Microsoft Office, Warehouse Management systems, and ERP system. - Full knowledge of job-related policies and procedures as well as corporate policies and procedures that may impact role functioning. o Requires full knowledge of own area of functional responsibility. - Effectively distributes work, providing performance guidance as needed. Key Skills and Competencies: - Effective communication skills - Proficient understanding of the use of a desktop - Basic math skills - Operates PIV equipment on site Licenses/Certifications, special qualifications: - Maintain good driving record/license
