Description Job Title: Warehouse Associate Department: Warehouse Reports to: Warehouse Manager FLSA Status: Non-Exempt The warehouse associate is also responsible for stocking products, loading products for shipping, and order selection within the warehouse. Responsibilities Checks, verifies, loads, stocks, and pulls inventory to meet store and customer orders. Performs daily inspections of appropriate motorized and manual equipment, including but not limited to: lift gate, pallet jack and hand truck, forklifts, radio frequency scanners and printers. Operates warehouse machinery in accordance with established safety procedures as needed to maintain the warehouse stock. Verifies and complete required documentation and reports. Complies with hazardous material regulations and procedures. Assists in maintaining a clean, organized warehouse environment at all times. Comply with all applicable laws / regulations, as well as company policies / procedures. Perform additional duties as directed by supervisor Physical Demands and Working Conditions Exerting up to 75 pounds of force repetitively and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Able to push/pull up to 300 lbs using mechanical aids, such as hand trucks, barrel dollies, hydraulic lifts, etc. Bending, twististing, squatting, climbing, pushing, pulling, stooping, crouching, reaching, standing, walking and moving at a quick speed of pace are required. Talking, hearing, and seeing with close visual acuity are frequently required. Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Ability to pass a drug test and background check Excellent customer service skills Ability to follow instructions and complete required training. Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment. Requirements Education and Experience A high school diploma and/or GED is required. Basic computer skills
