Description Job Description The Warehouse Associate will collaborate closely with other Warehouse Associates, Receiving Inspection, Branches and Planners to ensure material requirements are met accurately and on time. Essential Functions • Process, package, and ship orders accurately • Organize stocks and maintain inventory • Inspect products for defects and damages • Examine ingoing and outgoing shipments • Organize warehouse space • Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately • Check, verify and fill customer invoices • Keep the warehouse clean and organized daily • Might use material handling equipment to move parts and components from one work or storage area to another as required. • Performs all duties in a safe manner and keeps all employees aware of dangers in work area. • Frequent standing, walking, lifting, bending, reaching and stooping. • Practices good housekeeping in work area. • Assists other warehouse associates as assigned. • Other duties as assigned by management. ** Health Benefits begin on day one ** Requirements • High School diploma or GED • Must be authorized to work in the United States. • At least one-year previous warehouse experience • Demonstrated good oral and written communication skills and organizational skills. • Demonstrated good problem-solving skills. • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have experience of, or exposure to, a similar production/manufacturing environment. • Good working knowledge of MS Office and Suite • Current forklift certification • At least one year’s previous experience with hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment. • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds. Work Environment • Regular exposure to moving mechanical components, airborne fumes, and particles • Exposure to heat, cold, wet and snow conditions • Moderate noise levels
Responsibilities
