DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES This position may be required to perform additional tasks, responsibilities, or duties as assigned : Accurately receive material and/or pick and ship orders Ensure all paperwork completed properly and documents maintained for shipping purposes Organize product efficiently and maintain inventories Pull products from yard and warehouse as required Organize space in the warehouse and perform cleaning duties General warehouse duties and maintenance as needed Restock materials as and when required Coordinate communications with Inventory, Operations (Production), Purchasing, Scheduling, Accounting, and Program Management. Other duties as required SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES Excellent communication skills Good organization skills Accuracy in picking and shipping orders Organized team player with a strong aptitude to performing tasks accurately Punctual, efficient and professional Proven ability to work under time constraints and deadlines Able to lift at least 50 pounds Team player, adaptable, energetic with a positive attitude EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION Minimum High School diploma or equivalent required Previous warehouse experience desirable Knowledge of or previous experience in the Plumbing/Electrical industry an asset Current Forklift Certification desirable Experience using computer systems Must have clean driving record to be put on insurance Must have or be able to obtain a drive for hire endorsement. Final candidates will be required to undergo and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
