WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE/WORKER (TEMPORARY TO FULL TIME POSITION)

  • Pay Rate: $17.50/hr. for day shift and $19.25/hr. for the afternoon shift
  • Day shift times: 6:15 am to 2:45 pm
  • Afternoon shift times: 3pm to 11:30pm
  • Available: Monday to Friday
  • Location: Oakville

REQUIRED SKILL EXPERIENCE:

  • Must have a reliable car (due to location/commute)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a General Labourer or Warehouse Associate
  • Strong computer skills and general tech proficiency
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience working in high-volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (i.e., testing and repair) or forward logistics operation a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Must be able to lift and/or pull 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work in varying facility conditions.
  • Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours including nights, weekends and potentially holidays as needed by the customer

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for receiving, sortation, Clean & Screen functionality testing/Firmware upgrade and kitting production of electronics products
  • Report to the Department Head and Operations Managers
  • Can use RF scanner and computer for basic data entry.
  • Screen & Clean Replacing parts when required.
  • Responsible for any outbound shipments that need to be scanned, processed, and manifested.
  • Experience working in high-speed, high-volume environment.
  • Will need to scan and sort packages onto commercial pallets to specific locations indicated.
  • Ability to use material handling equipment such as a pallet jack and shrink wrap machine.
  • Maintain a high level of physicality for prolonged periods and work primarily standing.
  • Attention to detail is must.
