Description Xpress Trucking, Inc. is seeking a FULL-TIME Warehouse Associate who can safely and efficiently move freight, stock, or other materials or perform other general labor. Job Responsibilities ________________________________________ Load and unload incoming and outgoing cargo and freight shipments from shipping dock to containers. Arrange freight and cargo for delivery to loading platform. Prepare and examine bills of lading to determine shipping charges and tariffs. Freight inspection, monitor incoming/outgoing freight. Responds professionally to all customer’s needs and concerns. Maintains cleanliness of the warehouse by sweeping floor, wiping up spills, and keeping space organized. Responds promptly and professionally to internal staff and customer needs/concerns in a quick and courteous manner and able to bring unresolved issues to management. Back up Small Box Trucker Driver as needed Work together as a team with all departments and offices. Comply with all policies, procedures, safety rules and regulations. Complete all other tasks, duties and errands as assigned. Requirements Qualifications and Skills ________________________________________ Experience loading and unloading containers Forklift, power tools and other heavy equipment experience preferred Basic math, written and oral communications skills Cross-dock experience preferred Excellent hand, eye and foot coordination Maintains regular and predictable attendance required. Work overtime as needed. Excellent written and oral communications skills. Must comply with the company’s drug and alcohol testing requirements.
