About the Role As a Warehouse Attendant, you will play a key role in maintaining the daily production workflow to help achieve and improve on-time delivery performance. You will be responsible for ensuring material deliveries are accurate and that yard material deliveries are clearly communicated to internal customers, enabling continuous production without delays. Your existing counterbalance forklift experience will form the foundation of this role, with opportunities for side loader and additional forklift training and development. Success in this position depends on your ability to work collaboratively within the Stores team, proactively communicating order discrepancies to the Buyer and escalating any concerns to your Manager. What We Offer A stable role within a global organisation Ongoing training and development opportunities A strong focus on safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement A collaborative working environment supporting operational excellence Key Responsibilities Check accuracy of delivery lines Unload materials into Goods In Check and confirm materials are in accordance with purchase orders and highlight discrepancies to the Buyer Maintain material traceability and accurately log deliveries into the ERP system Attend and actively contribute to daily Stores meetings Communicate material arrivals to relevant functions and update the shortages board Update project material documentation as deliveries arrive to prevent production delays Store materials in designated locations or issue them to the relevant teams Pick and issue materials in line with parts lists, both electronically and physically, ensuring full material traceability Preserve materials held in inventory Maintain Stores and yard housekeeping in line with 5S standards Identify and recommend areas for improvement Participate in accurate daily cycle counting Carry out daily forklift inspections, reporting maintenance or safety concerns Conduct all material movements in accordance with company safe working practices Ensure full compliance with departmental and company policies, procedures, and processes Support other departments and carry out additional duties as required by business needs, as reasonably requested by the Line Manager Qualifications & Skills Essential: Working knowledge of Stores operations within a manufacturing, service, or repair environment Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence Desirable: Side Loader Licence Bendi Forklift Licence Skills, Training & Knowledge: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) Experience using ERP systems Knowledge in written and spoken English Interpersonal Skills Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across departments Team-oriented approach with a collaborative mindset Proactive and detail-focused, with the confidence to escalate issues when required Why Join Us?
