Description Coker Tire Company is seeking a motivated Warehouse Clerical Associate to join our team. In this role, you will assist with administrative duties at our Chattanooga warehouse, including printing pick tickets, pulling reports, and assisting customers. When not performing administrative duties, this position also assists with any other needed warehouse duties including (but not limited to) unloading and loading trucks, assisting with the shipping and receiving desk, packing, and general housekeeping. This role may begin as a temporary assignment through a staffing partner, with the goal of converting to a full-time position for the right candidate. Essential Functions Print and prepare orders for release to the warehouse for processing Provide support to the department for various administrative functions as needed Performs customer service duties associated with the Will-Call counter at the Rossville Ave location Generate performance reporting, for site and individual levels Orders supplies for the warehouse and ensures minimum quantities are met Coordinate and plan warehouse events Assist in administrative functions of annual physical inventory Assist in general warehousing duties (picking, shipping, kitting) when requested Perform additional duties as required by management Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment This job operates in a professional warehouse environment. This role routinely uses standard warehouse equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, forklifts. pallet jacks, mount and balance equipment and other various equipment as assigned by management. Physical Demands The individual in this position will spend several hours standing and using warehouse equipment and computers, which can cause muscle strain. He/she may also have to do lifting of supplies and product on a daily basis. These supplies and product can weigh up to 70 pounds. Schedule and Availability Working hours are Monday – Friday 8AM – 5PM. These may be extended during busier seasons. Some Saturdays (overtime) may be required. Requirements The successful candidate’s qualifications will include: High School Diploma/equivalent 3+ years related administrative experience preferred, preferably in a warehouse environment Intermediate MS Office skills including Word, Excel, and Outlook; must have the ability to build Excel spreadsheets and generate PowerPoint presentations Ability to handle high level of confidentiality and use common sense regarding sensitive company/employee information Highly organized and detail oriented Ability to prioritize, and multi-task effectively Forklift experience preferred
