Overview - As a Warehouse Clerk, you may work across shipping, receiving, and inventorying or be dedicated to a specific team. Responsibilities Unload, unpack, and inspect shipments of products. Report any damage, missing items, or inconsistencies as directed. Pricing items with appropriate mark-ups and labeling with the size and color for inventory control. Maintain the recycling program, collecting cardboard and placing in the appropriate areas. Assist in the maintenance of merchandise counts, daily records, and transfers within the inventory system. Assist in physical inventories. Inform supervisor of any low or over abundance in stock. Ensure that all work areas are neat, clean and organized with strong attention to safety. Perform any other duties as assigned. Qualifications At least one year’s experience working in a warehouse. Experience receiving using a data entry system, inventorying, and shipping. Computer knowledge and good communication skills. Must possess basic math skills and can handle counts accurately. Physical Requirements Must have the ability to carry and lift up to 55 pounds and stand all day. Frequent bending, stooping, carrying, walking, and reaching above the shoulders.
