Description POSITION SUMMARY The primary responsibility of this position is inventory cycle counting, including the tracking and monitoring of inventory within the warehouse. This position will be responsible for obtaining cycle count results and resolving discrepancies that are identified. Additional responsibilities will also include assisting with the transfer of parts between buildings and to multiple departments with the use of the company vehicle and material carts. JOB RESPONSIBLITIES · Perform daily cycle counts · Monitoring and controlling inventory integrity · Maintain product identification, location, and location code accuracy · Research inventory discrepancies · Work to resolve inventory problems in a timely manner · Open cartons, bundles, and other containers to count items to determine quantity on hand · Report discrepancies of over/under amounts and any damaged products · Assist with other duties as required Requirements ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Education: · High School diploma or equivalent Experience: · Previous cycle count experience highly preferred · Minimum of one year in a warehouse environment · Quantum Software experience is a plus Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: · Basic Computer skills, MS Excel, Word, & Outlook · Basic Math skills Working Conditions / Environment / Special Requirements · Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including, OSHA, EPA, FAA, DOT, and State and Federal regulations. · Ability to work flexible hours and different shifts if required · Employees will be subject to the random drug and alcohol testing under FAA regulations · This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and climbing throughout the day · The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds · Must pass forklift certification · Must have a valid driver’s license GENERAL COMMITMENT FOR ALL EMPLOYEES · Commitment to company values and complies with department norms, policies, directives, and procedures. · Strive for continuous improvement to processes and procedures. · Honors and protects confidential and proprietary documents and information. · Satisfies work schedule requirements. · The job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of all activities, duties or responsibilities that are required by the employee. · Performs other duties as assigned. · Reliable transportation to work · Good attendance & punctuality **To be considered for this position, you must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
