Description The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for the daily operations of shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material handling at Dark Horse Comics. This role serves the shipping and inventory needs of the company and its customers, ensures accurate processing and fulfillment of orders, and supports a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment. Shipping & Order Fulfillment Process daily orders including retail, direct-to-consumer, and complimentary copies shipped to creators and employees. Pull, verify, and package orders accurately and efficiently. Ship orders and complimentary copies using UPS WorldShip and FedEx Ship Manager. Create and manage outbound and inbound shipments using LTL and freight carriers. Maintain accurate shipping files including reports, shipping request forms, and complimentary copy lists. Receiving & Inventory Receive shipments from various carriers and distribute to appropriate persons and locations. Prepare and process receiving reports for forwarding to the Accounting department. Enter purchase orders, transfers, material requisitions, and locations into warehouse management systems as needed. Create order forms and provide tracking information to Accounting via warehouse management systems. Stock shelves and pallets accurately and in an organized manner. Perform cycle counts as needed and participate in quarterly and year-end inventory. Warehouse Operations Palletize orders and perform floor duties in compliance with OSHA safety standards. Operate a forklift in accordance with certification requirements and safety protocols. Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse environment at all times. Perform occasional deliveries and pick-ups using a box truck or personal vehicle as needed, including interdepartmental mail and post office runs. Mileage reimbursement provided for personal vehicle use. Assist the Facilities Manager with maintenance projects as needed. Requirements Required High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license. Ability to lift up to 70 lbs regularly. Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy, particularly with math and data entry. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and respond appropriately to unexpected situations. Team-oriented with a professional and reliable work ethic. Preferred Experience with computer manifest systems (e.g., UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager). Knowledge of international shipping regulations. Forklift certification. On-site training is available for qualified candidates.
