Description 1st Shift 7 AM to 3:30 PM The warehouse clerk directs carriers to appropriate dock. The position may require data and purchase order management. The position may also be required to provide various administrative support as needed throughout the warehouse. Essential Functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Produce all daily receiving paperwork for incoming and outgoing deliveries Verify BOL and PO for accuracy and distribute to warehouse associates/supervisors. Collect all receiving paperwork from warehouse and quality associates. Enter all necessary data into WMS and file tickets as necessary Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor. Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations. Assist in the receiving and warehouse areas as needed Report food safety and quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action. Requirements Ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing in English, effectively and professionally with employees at all levels of the organization. Basic mathematics and computer skills (data entry, email) Proficient in Microsoft word and Excel Ability to visually inspect components. Time Management and ability to prioritize effectively. Ability to work in a fast paced environment. Exhibit self-motivation, confidence, energy, & ability to operate under pressure. Detail oriented with standard mathematical acumen. Basic computer skills. Ability to effectively use Microsoft and Google software, i.e., Word, Excel, Google sheets. Work Environment Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but occasionally high. Products manufactured in the facility may contain peanuts, milk and tree nuts. Office Space with occasional need to be on the receiving dock. Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and or sit for the duration of the production shift. In addition, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen. The employee is frequently required to sit; climb; balance, stoop, and kneel or crouch. Regularly required to use hands to fingers, handle, or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Experience/Qualifications High School Diploma and one year warehousing operation, or any equivalent combination of education and experience to include two (2) years of experience in customer service and warehouse knowledge.
