Description Position Overview: The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for a clean, efficient and systematic employment area and maintaining safety and security of the warehouse. They are also responsible for making sure all DME is properly cleaned and logged into the logbook. This position reports to the Warehouse Supervisor. Requirements Essential Job Functions: Clean and maintain equipment and warehouse areas. Prepare, assemble, and stage equipment for use. Stock and replenish equipment and supply inventory. Assist with patient walk-ins as needed. Perform quality assurance checks and test equipment; determine whether defective DME equipment can be repaired for continued use or should be removed from service. Bag cleaned equipment in clear plastic bags, return items to their designated shelves, and apply appropriate “clean” labels. Keep the cleaning area organized and properly maintained throughout the day. Sanitize the cleaning area and complete required sanitation logs at the end of each day. Store materials safely and efficiently to maximize space and maintain compliance with safety procedures. Provide backup support to Patient Service Technicians as needed. Adhere to all applicable company policies and procedures. Requirements Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED – required Equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered Familiarity with MS Office applications and internet (email) Comfort using heavy work-machinery, office machinery Good oral and written communication skills
