GENERAL PURPOSE Perform a variety of senior-level clerical and operational duties in the warehouse. This may include coordination of inbound/outbound shipments, performing inventories, and maintaining accurate records both written and electronic in support of day-to-day operations. Serve as a resource to others inside and outside of the warehouse and perform assignments determined necessary by the team or management to ensure team success . JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide regular communication with key plant or location personnel related to outbound and inbound shipments • Perform month-end inventories of product and packaging in a timely manner with reconciliation of inventories • Ensure all product is shipped to outside warehouses in a timely manner and inventories are sent to customers • Ensure inventory of outside warehouse is reconciled at the end of each month • Make entries in appropriate computer system(s) • Ensure first-in, first-out (FIFO) is being maintained • Unload trucks as needed using Powered Industrial Trucks • Communicate as required with truck drivers, customers, vendors and suppliers in a professional manner • Function as an engaged employee and contribute to the site’s continuous improvement efforts • Follow all DFA GMP’s and work in a manner consistent with all corporate and regulatory, food safety, quality and sanitation requirements • The requirements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employee, but is not a complete list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required.
