About BYD Auto Hungary On 22 December 2023, BYD announced the construction of a new energy vehicle production base in Szeged, Hungary, which will be built in phases. The new production base is planned to adopt globally advanced process equipment and highly automated production processes to create a world-leading new energy vehicle manufacturing base. BYD Auto Hungary is looking for a Warehouse controller to our Vehicle Production Division in Szeged. Key Responsibilities: Workforce & structure tracking Monitor the factory staffing structure, standard position setup, and the actual headcount distribution; track workforce efficiency and suggest optimization actions when needed. Material planning & coordination Review and compile material plans for all departments within the assembly plant and support timely material availability. Procurement follow-up Coordinate and execute purchasing activities after Plant Manager approval; track procurement progress to meet deadlines while meeting cost and quality expectations. Warehouse operations Manage receipt, checking, sorting, storage, and distribution of materials to production areas in line with internal procedures. Inventory & asset control Maintain accurate electronic inventory records, post all stock movements on time, monitor inventory levels, investigate discrepancies, perform regular stock counts and reconcile with accounting; maintain fixed asset and low-value consumable records.. Skills, Qualifications, and Experience Required: Secondary education (higher education is an advantage). Basic computer skills (MS Office, email; inventory/ERP experience is an advantage). English language skills Confident daily communication in spoken and written English (work-related reporting, coordination with stakeholders). Accuracy & reliability Strong attention to detail; ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Teamwork & cooperation – Ability to work cross-functionally with Production, Finance, and Logistics; proactive and solution-focused attitude..
