SUMMARY

Oversees the daily warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving, to ensure the efficient handling of materials, parts, finished products and inventory management, while maintaining high standards of safety, organization and accuracy to support a fast-paced custom machine facility.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma and/or GED
• Two plus years of experience in warehouse coordination and overseeing people
• Pass a background check and drug test

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Stand for long periods of time, walk, push, pull, reach overhead, and bend to the floor
• Exert 25-65 lbs. of force occasionally, <10-25 lbs. of force frequently

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Correctly prepare and complete paperwork, maintain production traceability and work order documentation
• Receive raw material (12’ bars), count, measure, data entry into ERP system and place into inventory
• Coordinate outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling and documentation
• Maintain precise inventory records and support cycle counts
• Accurately count, weigh or measure packaged components per customer requirements
• Schedule freight carriers and coordinate national and international shipments
• Assist in developing warehouse procedures and improving workflow efficiency.
• Engage team members and share knowledge – coach, train, support, monitor performance and develop a flexible, multi-skilled team
• Contribute to a team environment by intently focusing on detail, internal processes and continuous improvement
• Maintain a clean work area and promote all safety, health and wellness practices, policies and procedures
