GENERAL SUMMARY

The Warehouse Coordinator oversees daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping/receiving processes. This role involves coordinating with internal teams and external vendors, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with safety and organizational standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Knowledge of state, local and federal food safety laws including SQF, USDA, GMP’s, CCP, HACCP, SSOPs and SOPs, Food Defense and Food Safety Culture guidelines and regulations.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Can read, write, communicate, and comprehend the English language sufficiently to perform various tasks of the job, including but not limited to; read labels, signage, communicating with co-workers, understanding oral and written instructions, accurately completing various shipping papers, reports, and records required of the position.
  • Ability to operate various types of configuration of equipment assigned, including various types of forklifts and hand held scanners with training.
  • Possess good judgement necessary to perform the functions of the job including; operating a forklift in a safe and lawful manner; handling products safely and efficiently.
  • Ability to work in a cold environment and withstand cold temperatures
  • Ability to meet physical requirements including: standing, sitting and walking throughout the day; repeated twisting at the torso while lifting, pushing, and pulling inventory from shelves; regular lifting of up to 50 pounds.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma / Equivalent GED Preferred Associates Degree or Bachelors
  • 2 to 5 years of inventory experience
  • Ability to read and write English
  • Experience in a production environment a plus
  • Experience in a warehouse environment a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Must be forklift certified
Responsibilities
  • Work within a cooler and freezer environment
  • Operate forklift equipment including pallet jacks, standup lifts
  • Load and Unload semi-trailers
  • Use hand-held computer to scan pallets
  • Repetitively lift merchandise up to 40 pounds.
  • Initiate and complete Ecommerce orders
  • Keep an inventory control system updated
  • Ensure order accuracy
  • Maintain order and cleanliness of staging area
  • Perform basic data entry functions on a CPU
