We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Coordinator to join our team on a full-time permanent basis based in Port Melbourne. This position is on day shift and will be based 100% onsite.
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for performing all logistical functions, MRP system transactions, work order releases, shipping functions and scrap replacements.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE):
- 3+ years experience in a manufacturing/logistics/warehouse coordinator role and knowledge of the process flows within
- Proficient computer skills in MS Excel, Word and Outlook
- Knowledge of SAP desired
- Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
- Strong understanding and commitment to 5S and Lean principles
- Safety conscious and able to adhere to safety requirements
- Ability to work in a routine and fast paced environment
- High attention to detail with a ‘can do’ attitude
- Ability to work without supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to liaise directly with internal customers
- Prepared to work in a changing environment and adapt to continuous improvement
- Full unrestricted working rights in Australia
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE):
- Current Forklift license is desirable

Responsibilities:
- Perform stock transactions using ERP System
- Ensure the necessary parts and equipment are supplied to the production area in the correct quantities and on time to meet business needs – manage the expediting of components to the necessary areas as required
- Perform production order release, pick and track production orders on ERP System, maintaining configuration and lot traceability
- Support scrap, AOG and spares replacement
- Receipt / transact goods throughout the process flow
- Identify potential and critical shortages that may / will impact schedule(s)
- Maintain ERP system accuracy - warehouse bin maintenance via MDG, control of inventory, run scheduled cycle counts of inventory, analyse results and action appropriately
- Expedite material for testing, monitoring availability and following up where necessary
- Embrace and apply evolving techniques / CPI activities / new experiences
- Action VIM corrections
- Assist with stock purges of parts where discrepancies are found
- Prepare, organise and participation in a full stock take
