Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Warehouse Coordinator to join the team based in Derby, East Midlands Gateway! In this role you will support Shift Managers in daily operational activities whilst coordinating a team of warehouse operatives ensuring the movement of goods are carried out in an efficient and effective way.
The shift pattern for this role is Monday to Friday 13:45 to 22:15.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Reporting into the Shift Manager, you will play a key role in promoting a positive health and safety culture by ensuring all regulations and processes are consistently followed across the operation. You will take responsibility for investigating incidents promptly and ensuring appropriate follow-up actions are taken.
You will actively support a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring tasks are allocated effectively and completed to a high standard. A key part of your role will be to ensure that colleagues are working towards their KPIs and that the shift runs efficiently and smoothly.
Working closely with the Shift Manager, you will monitor and report on attendance and performance, ensure all team members attend daily briefings, and help plan and allocate sufficient labour across the operation. You’ll also ensure colleagues are appropriately trained and supported in their roles.
