Job Description Essential Duties & Responsibilities Include the following, while other duties may be assigned thereafter: Handle shipments in the warehouse in order to meet the on-time connectivity targets and processes. Unload and load correctly shipments as per company procedure: e.g. right stacking and sequencing to ensure no damages occur to customer goods and company equipment. If applicable: perform check weigh. Correctly load / unload shipments as per company procedure, using Fork Lift if applicable. Sort consignments. Label consignments. Scan inbound and scan outbound shipments. To report any damages, and to assist with repacking as necessary. Comply with regularity (e.g. Aviation, security, customs, dangerous goods) policies & procedures. Perform all aspects of check and bagging as per procedures. Perform return and repair complaint activities. Storage and follow up on customer request. Perform warehouse searches. Detect and report discrepancies: Missing or incorrect paperwork, Undeliverable shipments, Badly packed shipments, Damaged goods. Checking seals of in & out-going units and report irregularities to Warehouse Supervisor. To ensure all material is cleared on time by presenting accurate documentation and promptly made available for the delivery process. To ensure complete and accurate sortation of transit material to their respective destinations. To ensure damage free loading and unloading. To ensure all company equipment is kept in good condition. Ensure any damaged equipment is brought to the attention of the relevant staff. To provide necessary documentation to relevant the job. To ensure relevant documentation is available to Warehouse Supervisor and to data entry. Qualifications Qualifications & Experience (Competencies Required) Educational Credentials Diploma or High school qualification or equivalent. Work Experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferable. Cooperative spirit in working with peers, supervisors, clients, and guests. Evening/weekend availability is desirable. Basic knowledge on Warehouse/Logistics is preferable. Forklift driving certification, is preferable.
