WAREHOUSE COORDINATOR - RAW MATERIALS Sofidel America of Haines City, FL is currently seeking an Warehouse Coordinator to join our maintenance team. SCOPE: This position coordinates the inventory efforts for raw materials to ensure the accuracy and availability of materials for manufacturing to satisfy the expectations of our customers. Continuously supports Sofidel’s Employee Personal Practice Policy. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Support Sofidel America’s Good Manufacturing Practices and HACCP to promote a safe, sanitary and hygienically sound workplace. * Perform daily counts for the shuttles to our external warehouse and specified customer accounts, includes transfer paperwork and SAP entry. * Count, label and tag the allocation of all raw materials (RM) and maintain accurate records. * Coordinate monthly adjustment, inventory (IRM) and entry for RM. * Authenticate the goods in the received shipments and maintain record of all discrepancies. * Perform monthly inventory counts for Warehouse Supervisor. * Ensure the proper handling and storage of goods and supplies. * Follow all safety regulations and legal documentation norms pertaining to warehousing. * Maintain good housekeeping in the warehouse. OTHER DUTIES MAY INCLUDE: * Perform or assist with warehouse team required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules and quality requirements. Notify supervision of unusual equipment or operating problems and the need for additional material and supplies. * Maintain safe work area and comply with safety procedures and equipment operating rules keeping work area in a clean and orderly condition. * Participate in any variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, policies, and regulatory guidelines. * Perform other related duties as assigned. TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED: Education/Experience: Associates Degree or High School Diploma with minimum of two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be proficient with Excel and Exposure to SAP or MRP system preferred. Language Ability: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, shipping/warehouse and inventory requirements, operating and maintenance instructions, and quality and procedure manuals. Communication skills are essential. Physical Demands and work environment: Be exposed to sounds or noise levels that maybe uncomfortable, prolong standing or in stationary position complete repetitive movements, bend and/or twist, Lift/move/transport items up to 50 pounds, ability to work around dust, chemicals, and other substances, and in various environmental conditions, wear all required personal protective equipment (hearing, vision and head net).
