About the Role
We are currently seeking a hands-on Warehouse Coordinator to lead the day-to-day operations of our busy warehouse. This is a dynamic and fulfilling part-time role (30.4 hours per week), where you’ll contribute directly to programs that make a real difference.
As the Warehouse Coordinator, you will oversee the collection, receiving, sorting, storage, and distribution of donated goods. You will also support a team of volunteers and drive our vehicles to assist other Salvos programs when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily warehouse activities including collection, inventory, and distribution of stock
• Ensure donated goods meet TSA and Greater West Salvos’ quality standards
• Coordinate warehouse safety, equipment maintenance, and waste/recycling processes
• Provide daily supervision, training, and support to a team of volunteers
• Drive GWS vehicles to deliver or collect goods across various sites
• Sound knowledge of safe manual handling and furniture logistics
• Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation
• Actively contribute to a safe and positive team culture

About You

• Experience in warehouse or logistics operations, preferably in a coordinator role
• Sound knowledge of safe manual handling and furniture logistics
• Sound people skills – you enjoy working with and supporting volunteers
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Comfortable using basic computer systems for stock control
• Experience in retail, customer service, or community services (Preferred)
• Current Driver’s Licence (required)
