About the Role: The Warehouse Data Entry Clerk plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of warehouse activities by providing comprehensive administrative support. This position is responsible for managing documentation, coordinating communication between warehouse staff and management, and maintaining accurate records of inventory and shipments. The role requires close collaboration with logistics, procurement, and customer service teams to facilitate timely order processing and delivery. By handling scheduling, data entry, and reporting tasks, the Warehouse Data Entry Clerk helps optimize warehouse workflows and supports compliance with company policies and safety regulations. Ultimately, this position contributes to maintaining an organized, productive warehouse environment that meets operational goals and customer expectations. Minimum Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent. * Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role, preferably within a warehouse or logistics environment. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word. * Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Preferred Qualifications: * High School diploma, or equivalent. * Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory tracking software. * Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures and documentation. * Basic knowledge of supply chain and logistics operations. * Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. * High attention to detail. Responsibilities: * Manage and maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and receiving documentation. * Coordinate daily communication between warehouse personnel, management, and external vendors or carriers. * Prepare and process inventory related transaction/movements of purchase orders, sales orders, transfer orders, and other administrative paperwork related to warehouse activities. * Support compliance with safety protocols and company policies by maintaining up-to-date documentation and reporting any discrepancies. * Utilize warehouse management systems and software to monitor inbound and outbound movement of inventory. * Respond promptly to internal and external inquiries regarding order status, inventory availability, and shipment details. * Assist in the administrative aspects of inventory audits/counts. Skills: The required skills such as proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong organizational abilities are essential for managing and maintaining accurate records, preparing reports, and handling communication efficiently on a daily basis. Effective verbal and written communication skills enable this position to coordinate between warehouse staff, management, and external partners, ensuring clarity and timely information exchange. Preferred skills like familiarity with warehouse management systems and knowledge of logistics processes enhance the ability to track inventory accurately and support operational workflows.
