Job Description As a warehouse/delivery driver you will be operating various tractor-trailer combinations between company terminals and customer facilities or work sites within the terminal's geographic service area as well as typical warehouse duties. Responsibilities * Responsible for maintaining a clean and current driver’s license. * Safely operate a variety of vehicles, including tractor-trailers, delivery vans, and courier vehicles. * Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving. * Able to work as a Team. * Communicate effectively with customers when required. * Pull orders, Load and unload goods and materials using pallet jacks, forklifts, or manual methods. * Unload safely when necessary. * Assist in Warehouse when needed. * Bend, Kneel and lift as needed to perform various tasks. * Maintain proper delivery paperwork and ensure it is returned to warehouse after every delivery. Also Maintain accurate records, including mileage, and any incidents or delays. * Other duties as assigned. Qualifications * Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record * Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations. * Ability to safely operate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts. * Have experienced trailer knowledge – be able to pull back a 24ft Trailer. * Excellent time management skills to ensure on-time deliveries.
