Description Warehouse Worker & Delivery Associate Organization Name: T&J Heating, A/C and Plumbing Job Location: Bellingham, MA Department: Construction Reports to: Warehouse Lead Employment Status: Full Time FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Position Summary Responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials within the warehouse Essential Functions The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: · Receive incoming parts and verify contents against purchase orders, ensuring accurate unloading and proper storage in accordance with warehouse procedures. · Pick parts from shelves, pack boxes, and load trucks efficiently to fulfill delivery orders and maintain timely shipments. · Monitor and maintain appropriate storage conditions for all incoming goods to ensure inventory integrity and prevent damage. · Organize warehouse layout for optimal space utilization, manage waste disposal, and uphold a clean, safe, and orderly work environment. Other Responsibilities · Assist team members in locating and retrieving required parts to support efficient operations. · Deliver parts to customer sites promptly and professionally, ensuring accuracy and timely service. · Follow direction from the Warehouse Lead to complete tasks that contribute to a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment. · Identify and promptly correct any unsafe conditions in the work area; report uncorrectable issues to the supervisor immediately. · Comply with all applicable standards, policies, and procedures. · Other duties may include working in the other areas of the company to provide support during absences, staff shortages in other trades or to perform duties associated with light construction projects. · Other duties as assigned. Requirements Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Maintain a valid driver’s license and ability to drive a company truck or van. Previous warehouse or material handling experience is a plus. Basic reading and math skills. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment and inventory handling. Good time management and organizational skills. Ability to work independently.
