Utz Quality Foods is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Dock Clerk to support our fast-paced logistics operations at our Gastonia, NC facility. This opportunity comes with a very appealing Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM shift! If you’re ready to bring your organizational skills to a growing company with strong roots and a family atmosphere, we want to hear from you!   Key Responsibilities * Distribute outbound products to assigned dock spaces * Verify shipment accuracy, quality, and completeness against orders * Use Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) to manage inventory, release orders, assign pickers, confirm shipments, and generate BOLs and packing lists * Operate BluJay Transportation Management System to close loads and upload shipment documents * Calculate and enter transportation data for driver payroll * Perform scheduled physical inventory counts * Support other shifts when needed (vacations or call-outs) * Communicate with production, transport drivers, and logistics personnel to keep operations running smoothly Job Requirement * Strong attention to detail and time management skills * Basic reading and math proficiency * Willingness to learn product codes and packing standards (on-the-job training provided) * Comfort working in a fast-paced manufacturing or warehouse environment * Team-player mindset with a flexible attitude * Compliance with safety requirements including PPE and non-slip footwear External Recruitment Process * Easy Application (5 mins): Introduce yourself and answer a few key questions to get started. * Engaging Chat Interview (20-25 mins): Share your experiences in an online chat, highlighting how your values align with ours. * Live Interview: Selected candidates will meet with the hiring manager to explore their alignment with the team and overall Utz company culture.
