ROLE DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse / Driver to join the team at our branch in Bristol. This is an exciting opportunity for a reliable and motivated person who is looking for a new challenge.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Deliver goods to Merchant businesses and retail customers
• Demonstrate excellent customer service
• Ensure goods are checked, safely loaded and signed for at the point of delivery
• Return all paperwork at end of day and keep a record of goods returned, shortages or errors on the order
• Responsible for company stock and vehicle at all times
• Demonstrate safe driving at all times to meet all relevant vehicle monitoring KPI’s
• Ensure compliance with all applicable driver legislation
• Read and adhere to drivers handbook
• Complete daily vehicle checks including defect reporting
• Report accidents in line with agreed company policies and procedures
• Prompt completion of compliance and training modules
• Ensure vehicle is kept clean and tidy
• Demonstrate excellent attendance and timekeeping
• Notify any sales opportunities to APP or MRCH sales team
• Follow correct manual handling guidelines in day to day activities
• Accurate processing and locating of goods in and out
• Picking and packing items for dispatch
• Loading of vehicles for onward delivery to our customers
• Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accuracy of stock and resolve any discrepancies
• Operate warehouse equipment including fork lift and pump trucks safely and efficiently
• Demonstrate highest levels of housekeeping
  This position primarily involves warehouse work, but you may need to deliver goods if coverage is required.

  Pay: £26,984.00 per year
