PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS FOR WAREHOUSE/DELIVERY DRIVER POSITION:

• Must be able to continually lift 50100 lbs. of material throughout the day. Some lifting over 100 lbs. will be required.
• Load trucks with material scheduled for the day’s deliveries within compliance of securing and distributing weight limits according to DOT regulations.
• Unload trucks and receive merchandise at warehouse.
• Move materials and items from receiving to its designated area as directed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid Chauffeur Driver’s License preferred but not required.
• Clean motor vehicle record.
• Satisfactory driving record per Company policy.
• Must pass physical examination and drug screen.
• Operation of forklift.

PURPOSE

Our Warehouse Team Members are responsible for safely delivering products to the job site as well as receiving materials in the warehouse, loading trucks, and processing inventory. This job involves heavy labor, standing, walking, climbing, and lifting. Our team member must be customer service oriented with a positive “can do” attitude. Ritsema Associates conducts pre-employment physical, drug test and background checks.

OTHER ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES FOR WAREHOUSE/DELIVERY DRIVERS:

• Safely deliver materials to the job site.
• Maintain records of deliveries, truck mileage, and receipts.
• Complete forklift and truck inspection for safety and proper documentation record keeping of policies and procedures.
• Participate in annual physical inventory of the Branch.
• May be assigned equipment or facility maintenance duties as needed.
• Organize warehouse and work area for orderly cleanliness at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
