Overview The Warehouse Driver's primary responsibility is delivering goods and materials between warehouses, distribution centers, and jobsites. This will involve tasks such as picking, receiving, packaging, loading and unloading trucks, operating forklifts or pallet jacks, and ensuring safe and timely deliveries of orders. There will also be basic warehouse duties like inventory management and maintenance of the warehouse. Associate is required to complete these tasks in accordance to company SOP’s. Responsibilities Operations: · Operate company vehicles such as Pickup Truck, Box Truck, and Flatbed to and from jobsites safely · Maintain and inspect company vehicles weekly through the Fleet management app · Assist with loading and unloading materials · Maintain company vehicles clean · Operate dolly, pallet jack, and/or forkliftInspect shipments for damage, loss, or defects· Prepare orders for shipment in accordance with the pick ticket and customer requirements · Collaborating with warehouse personnel to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of orders. · Assisting in warehouse safety, organization and maintenance · Responsible for accurately receiving, reporting, and distributing purchased items · Assisting with inventory checks, documenting quantities, and ensuring accurate records. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Must be able to pass DOT Physical Valid Driver’s License Ability to drive large vehicles in tight or high traffic areas safely Forklift / Telehandler experience preferred. Effective communication/comprehension skills in English Math Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure Basic computer skills Previous experience in construction or similar industry preferred. Familiarity with safety protocols, especially in construction sites. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Physical Requirements – ability to bend, twist, stoop, reach, climb ladders, lift materials up to 80 lbs., and move materials up to 600 lbs using a pallet jack Working Conditions Construction jobsite and warehouse conditions, which include exposure to high temperatures; cool/cold temperatures; weather conditions, and loud noises. Some general office and construction trailer working conditions. Job site walking.
