J&J Innovative Medicine Leiden is recruiting for Warehouse EH&S Specialist, located in our Schiphol-Rijk warehouse.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS::
- Proven experience in warehouse safety or a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced distribution environment.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant safety regulations and standards (e.g., PGS15, ARIE, ARBO).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify potential risks and develop effective preventive measures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work well with employees and partners at all levels.
- Ability to deliver engaging safety training sessions and facilitate discussions on safety-related topics.
- Diligent demeanour and strong problem-solving skills to investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
- Proficiency in using safety management software and tools to track safety performance and generate reports.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in occupational health and safety, industrial engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Proficient reading, writing and speaking in English.
- Good understanding of the Dutch language is preferred.
